LU/LA – Limited Use/Limited Access

Savaria™ Orion Elevator:
an Affordable Commercial Low-Rise

Not all commercial settings are the same, so not all elevators will work for your building. Educational settings, places of worship, and small professional offices up to three-stories high don’t need the type of heavy-duty elevator a 50-story downtown skyscraper do. The Savaria™ Orion elevator was designed for limited use/limited application commercial projects and is well-suited for use in building like yours. With the features, you would expect to see in a high-rise elevator, like automatic sliding doors and commercial fixtures, the Orion elevator delivers a professional appearance and a smooth ride for passengers without the exorbitant cost to you.

1:2 cable hydraulic drive system with gradual acceleration and deceleration, makes
for a smooth ride
Quiet operation from submersed pump and motor
Pit depth of 14″ (355 mm) and minimum overhead of 120″ (3048 mm) is easier to
accommodate than standard commercial elevators
Rated for up to 1400 lb (635 kg), with spacious cabs available
Fire-rated steel panel cab interior in choice of white or black with optional laminate
panel overlays available
Stainless steel fixtures with LED indicators for the cab operating panel and hall call
stations, automatic cab on/off lighting
Emergency battery back-up for lowering and interior lighting, emergency stop and alarm buttons, emergency manual lowering, and safety brakes all designed for passenger safety
Standard two-stop operation can be increased to up to five stops over a maximum of
300″ (762 cm)*
Configurable for one door or two doors with straight-through access for
ADA-compliant projects

Other options for your Savaria™ Orion elevator include steel panels with plastic laminate in a variety of colors, brass fixtures, 90˚ door configurations, hands-free phone, telephone cabinet with choice of finish, manual or automatic fire-rated folding gate, fire recall service, overspeed governor, a variety of landing doors, two-speed steel doors with infrared door closing sensors inblack, architectural white or stainless steel.
